- Difficulty Level: The trek is graded as moderate, which means it does not require technical climbing skills on the mountains, but trekkers are required to trek up and descend staircases multiple times during a day, and this is for most of the trekking days.
- Duration and Daily Walking:

Mardi Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and trekking preparation
We will pick you up from the airport and then transfer you to the Hotel. Where we prepare for the trek by hiring and buying the gear.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara, 7-8 hours
The tourist bus to Pokhara takes about 7-8 hours to reach and offers the magnificent views of the countryside, and trekkers can see the diverse range of landscapes. You will see the Trisuli and Marshyandri River Rafting.
Day 03: Drive to Jhinu, then trek to Lower Sinuwa 2170 M, 7-8 Hours
The first day of the trek begins with the jeep drive to Jhuinu. The drive takes about 3 hours. From her,e you will begin your trek. The trek trail starts with the ascent trails with the stairs till Chomrong. From Chomrong, you descend to chomrong rivers and then climb to Lower Sinuwa.
Day 04: Lower Sinuwa to Deurali 3200 M, 8-9 Hours
Your trek today leads you from Sinuwa to Deurali, situated at 3,200 meters. This journey involves a steady climb through diverse landscapes, including dense forests and alpine meadows. The trek will take about 5-6 hours and will set you up for the final ascent to Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 05: Trek to Annapurna base camp 4130 M, 5-6 Hours
Today, you will trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters. This 5-6 hour trek takes you through breathtaking scenery and provides panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Upon reaching Base Camp, you can enjoy the stunning surroundings and the majestic peaks that encircle you.
Day 06: Trek down to Bamboo 2600 M, 8-9 Hours
After spending time at Annapurna Base Camp, you will begin your descent. Trek back to Bamboo at 2,350 meters. The return journey will take about 8-9 hours, retracing some of your previous steps and allowing you to appreciate the landscape from a different perspective.
Day 07: Bamboo to Jhinu 1400 M, 5-6 Hours stay overnight at Jhiunu
Today, you will trek from Sinuwa to Jhinu Danda, a village known for its natural hot springs. After enjoying the hot springs and a well-deserved rest, you will stay overnight here at Jhinu.
Day 08: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Forest Camp (2,600 m), 6 hours of walking. 13 km
Crossing the long suspension bridge, you will head down to the New Bridge village. Here you will cross the bridge again and take the trails to Landruk. You will have lunch at the landruk village, and from here you will trek to the forest camp.
Day 09: Trek from Forest Camp to High Camp (3,600 m): 5 hours of walking.
The trail heads up with the accent trails via forest and reaches the Low camp, and from there to Badal Danda. From Badal Danda, the trail moves via the ridge through to the Mardi Himal High camp and stays overnight here.
Day 10: Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m) and Trek to Low Camp (3,050 m), 7 hours of walking.
Early in the morning, you will go to the viewpoint to see the best Himalayan views from the Mardi Viewpoint or reach up to the Mardi Base camp and return down to Mardi High Camp. Doig lunch here, you will go down to the Low camp and stay overnight here.
Day 11: Trek to Siding (1,706 m) and drive to Pokhara (800 m), 4 hours of walking.
We head down to the siding, which takes about 3-4 hours and take a jeep back to Pokhara.
Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus
Day 13: Your departure day
Gear for the Mardi Annapurna Base Camp Trek
For a successful trek, it is always good to have proper gear, and the gears ensure your safety and comfort during the trek, so we recommend you have all the gears which are necessary for the trek. The following information will give you some idea about what you need to bring for the trek. There are some items which you may have already, and some you can buy or hire. It is important to do some of of the items are very essential and some make the trek easier, but for packing we recommend you to take the reference of the following lists.
