In 2005, KPOWER, a micro servo brand, quietly emerged on the industrial map of Dongguan. At that time, China’s servo motor industry was still in its infancy, heavily relying on imported technology and facing low market awareness. This fledgling company, with just over ten technical staff in a 47,000-square-meter facility, embarked on independent research and development with a bold vision: “taking Chinese servo motors to the global stage.”

During the early entrepreneurial phase, the team faced immense challenges. Without mature technical references, they had to explore core parameters by dismantling imported servos and conducting repeated experiments. To address the precision control issues in servo motors, engineers spent eight months testing over 20 gear materials and 15 transmission structures. By optimizing tooth profile designs and refining the lubrication process, product accuracy reached ±0.5°, positioning KPOWER at the forefront of the industry at the time. This milestone helped the company earn a strong reputation among small and medium-sized automation equipment manufacturers, with annual order volumes steadily growing at a rate of 30% from 2008 to 2012.

After 2010, as industry demands evolved, KPOWER entered a period of rapid growth. The company invested over 50 million yuan to establish a research and development center, introduced advanced equipment such as coordinate measuring machines and dynamic torque testers, and forged academic collaborations with three domestic universities. In 2015, KPOWER successfully developed its first high-voltage, brushless, all-aluminum servo motor, increasing torque density by 40% over traditional models. This innovation secured 23 patents, paving the way for the brand to enter the mid-to-high-end market.

As of 2024, KPOWER boasts a professional team of over 300 employees, with an annual production capacity of 7 million units. Its technical prowess is demonstrated through 156 patents and six international quality certifications, including IATF16949. KPOWER products span eight major sectors, from smart home devices to industrial automation, and the brand has established partnerships with over 500 companies, including Huawei and DJI. With exports to more than 20 countries, KPOWER captures 3.2% of the global servo motor market, cementing its reputation as a leading Chinese enterprise in both technology and scale.
